Academics

 

SEA Literacy provides one-on-one academic support to refugee students from Kindergarten through university levels, helping them build strong English language skills and complete homework assignments. Our volunteers bring patience, understanding, cultural sensitivity, and fluency to their work, supporting students as they grow in all aspects of literacy—reading, writing, speaking, listening, and effectively using numbers and technology. We strive to empower our students to express and understand ideas, make informed decisions, achieve their personal and academic goals, and become confident, successful members of our community.
