Social Emotional Development

At SEAL we focus on helping students build trust, confidence, and lasting friendships while supporting their overall well-being. We provide close monitoring and individual check-ins that give students the space to reflect on how they feel, along with hygiene and personal care lessons that emphasize the mental and physical effort involved in taking care of themselves. To further promote wellness, we supply personal hygiene products and guidance on maintaining healthy habits. We also create opportunities for students to form meaningful friendships through shared experiences—whether on supervised field trips, during extracurricular programs like Chess Education and STEM Saturdays, or through educational games after homework. These activities foster critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, while also helping students cope with trauma and adjust to new environment
