Our Mission
​
SEA Literacy uplifts refugee children, adolescents, and young adults in Greater Milwaukee by fostering social and educational development. Through mentorship, academic support, and community engagement, we help them overcome the challenges of resettlement, find healing and support, and grow into empowered community leaders. We also provide opportunities for Milwaukee-area residents to connect with their neighbors, fostering a more inclusive and harmonious city!​

We envision a Milwaukee where every refugee youth has the resources, support, and confidence to thrive in their new home. By bridging cultures and building understanding, we strive to create a welcoming, united community where diversity is celebrated, and all individuals have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
